Robertson Bell are looking for a talented and experienced Rent and Service Charge Specialist to join an organisation during a pivotal time of change on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining the seamless operation of the financial processes.

You'll be responsible for:

• Preparing service charge actuals and playing a key role in the external audit process
• Resolving resident queries related to rents and service charges with efficiency and professionalism
• Providing vital support to the wider finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
• Assisting the annual rent setting process and collaborating with the housing team

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A minimum of 1 years' experience in rent and service charge accounting
• In-depth knowledge of housing regulations, rent setting practices, and service charge management
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and a passion for delivering results
• Ideally experience within social housing, however, commercial service charges experince or local authority service charges experience will still be valuable

This is a hybrid role asking for office attendance 2 days per week in Hertfordshire; however, remote working may be considered after a period of time.
