Interim Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor – Midlands based Council – 30 hours per week – up to £65 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Midlands-based Council who are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join their team on a 30 hours per week, remote working basis.

Role Overview:

• Position: Interim Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor
• Location: Remote working
• Contract Length: initial 4 months with possibility of extension
• Working Days: 30 hours
• Rate: Up to £65 per hour (Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on managing high-profile commercial contracts, including those related to public health, framework agreements, and various call-off contracts.
• Oversee and advise on complex procurement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Utilise your extensive experience in contract management to support the Council in a variety of commercial matters.
• Essential experience with Oracle Fusion to assist with contract management and procurement systems.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in handling complex commercial contracts within the public sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement frameworks and processes.
• Ability to work independently, providing expert legal advice on all commercial matters.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is essential for this role.
