My client is a leading global aerospace business based in Birmingham.

Description

• Drive reliable and meaning Standard Costing within the plant including daily costing updates
• Execute the annual cost roll for material, labour and overhead
• Supporting new product development cost estimates and analysis
• Activities and analysis to improve overall accuracy of product cost
• Partner with on-going cost reviews
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and financial performance analysis
• Monitor processes and controls relating to financial transactions, recommending and implementing improvements with the Controller and business partners
• Work closely with non-finance team members to drive cost improvements and analysis in all production activities
• Partner in Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting
• Provide Meaningful Business Analysis

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of other office programs
• Strong analytical skills; experience working with large data sets is a plus
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional manufacturing environment

Job Offer

• £350 - £400 per day
