Interim Senior Finance Business Partner

We are looking for an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to join a thriving organisation in the life sciences sector. This temporary role, based in Birmingham, requires expertise in accounting and finance to provide strategic financial guidance and support.

Description

• Support the Commercial Finance Business Partners with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ownership of the month-end close processes, including, but not limited to, journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations, commercial reporting and ledger closes.
• Ownership of the end to end finance processes, including but not limited to customer rebate generation, customer and commercial query resolution, new customer on-boarding, reporting, quoting and invoice management.
• Collate and prepare applicable tax returns and filings ready for the UK&I Financial Controller to review and approve.
• Quarterly UK VAT returns
• Corporation Tax computations and returns

Profile

A successful Interim Senior Finance Business Partner should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
• Excellent reporting and commercial skills as well as use of excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate of £350 to £450, depending on experience.
