Interim Senior Finance Manager

Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Financial Manager on an interim basis of circa 4 months to cover a period of transition before the permanent person joins. Operating from a well established site in central Lancashire this is a large business with operations overseas and therefore requires an experienced individual / professional interim who can get up to speed with minimal supervision. As you will be handing over from the exiting individual this will very much be a "holding the fort" role to maintain business as usual in the finance department. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Prepare the monthly management information for the group and subsidiaries
• Liaise with UK and overseas finance teams to co-ordinate and deliver financial data
• Support continuous improvement of procedures to improve efficiency
• Liaise with Auditors to plan and prepare the draft accounts

The ideal candidate would be preferably be CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified with good experience of financial accounting and reporting, preferably gained from a senior finance role at a medium to large sized company. You must have strong communication skills to quickly gain credibility and confidence from stakeholders and a pro-active approach to integrate well into the wider finance team.

You will be joining a successful, financially secure business with a collaborative culture and family feel. The environment is very modern and their systems and processes are all fit for purpose so this should be a fairly straight forward interim contract for the successful candidate. My client is happy for someone to join the payroll or can offer a competitive day rate if preferred.
