Interim Service Manager (Social Work) - Children with Disabilities Team in Bristol (UK) needed for an exciting locum opportunity with South Gloucestershire County Council. This role offers a lucrative daily rate between £400-£500, depending on experience. The position requires full-time commitment for a duration of 3 months, with a start date as soon as possible. The role operates under the umbrella of Inside IR35, with hybrid working arrangements allowing you to balance your professional and personal life by working three days on site.

What you will do:

• Oversee the 0-25 Children with Disabilities Service, ensuring high-quality delivery during this short-term cover period.
• Lead and support a team, providing guidance particularly in areas like the Children and Families Act, SEND, and Adult Care Act for the 16-25 service group.
• Develop and implement strategic service plans, coordinating with multiple departments to improve service delivery and outcomes.
• Respond to complex case issues and provide expert guidance to the team, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
• Engage with families, carers, and other stakeholders to foster collaborative working relationships and improve service satisfaction.
