Interim Tax Specialist

Role: Interim Tax Manager

Location: Nottingham (2 days from the office, or mostly remote)

Contract: 12 months

Distinct is partnering with a Nottinghamshire business to recruit an interim Tax Manager. This role will oversee its tax agenda for 2025. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to shape tax strategy with impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic tax oversight aligned with the 2025 financial cycle
• Lead on transfer pricing policies
• Support senior accounting compliance
• Work closely with external advisors and internal teams
• Contribute to the development of tax governance across the group

About you:

• Experience in a multinational or group structure (any industry welcome)
• Strong understanding of corporate tax and VAT
• Ability to manage the tax function with a light-touch, high-level approach
