Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, W12 (easily commutable from Shepherd's Bush, Acton, Ealing, Chiswick, White City, and Kensington)
Pay: £100-£115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: ASAP
A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to take on a dual-role supporting children across both Key Stage 1 and 2. If you're experienced, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education, this could be a fantastic long-term opportunity.

In the mornings, you'll be based in a Year 4 classroom, delivering targeted interventions in Literacy and Numeracy. These sessions will focus on closing learning gaps and boosting confidence in small groups. In the afternoons, you'll work 1:1 with a child in Year 2 who has a diagnosis of Autism, providing tailored support to help them engage with the curriculum and feel settled throughout the day.

The Role Includes:

  • Running structured intervention sessions for Year 4 pupils in core subjects
  • Supporting a child with ASD in Year 2 using visual aids, routines, and sensory tools
  • Implementing EHCP targets in collaboration with the SENCo and class teacher
  • Tracking progress and adapting support strategies when needed
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation through consistency and praise

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience supporting children with ASD, ideally in a school setting
  • Confidence managing group and 1:1 learning sessions
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing attitude
  • An understanding of SEND strategies including now/next boards, visual timetables, and sensory regulation

Why Apply?

  • Long-term consistency and potential for permanent placement
  • Supportive leadership team and ongoing CPD
  • Opportunity to build experience across two key stages
  • Trial day offered to help you settle into the role with confidence
