iOS DEVELOPER - INITIAL 6 MONTHS - OUTSIDE IR35

One of Loriens leading Public Sector clients are looking for a iOS Developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. We would be ideally looking for Scottish based candidates however we can support remote working for the right candidate.

As an ios developer, the successful candidate would be expected to provide a software development and consultancy to design, build, deploy and document software solutions modernising and supporting internal applications and case management systems. The successful candidate would also be expected to enhance the internal application that aims to transform the way in which the organisation carries out its business and administration processes.

Essential skills

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in mobile app development
• Swift and Objective-C
• UIKit
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs
• Version Control (GIT)
• iOS unit test skills (OCUnit or SenTestingKit, etc)
• Working knowledge of Core Data, GCD (Grand Central Despatch), NSOperations, NSURLSession
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable skills

• Experience developing software in a secure network environment processing highly sensitive data and delivering solutions compliant with of Cyber Security standards (NCSC, OWASP, PSNP)
