Our client is looking to recruit an IT Hardware Engineer on a 6-month contract. This is a contract role that is Inside IR35. As an IT Hardware Engineer will you manage Hardware, IMAC, and meeting rooms across a variety of products including Dell and Apple. You will also aid our client on a full service to transition to Modernise our clients Workplace

Roles and Responsibilities

• Our client supports 3 sites in the Central London Area
• Users order or report faulty kit, and this generates a Service Now ticket that is actioned by an offsite Triage team who will add relevant parts or orders to be sent to site to action the said ticket.

Common tickets include

• Kit returns
• Laptop builds
• Monitor and PC installs
• Kit Moves

• Engineers will be assigned tickets to fulfil these orders and fault reports, faulty or unused kit is then sent back to be processed in the logistics centre.
• Engineers are expected to manage ticket assigned appropriately and arrange appointments with users to fulfil the tickets.
• The team is further supported by an onsite Team Leader and a delivery manager.

Shift Pattern
Working shifts 8-4, 9-5, 10-6
There is weekend OT available at times for project related work, such as Moves, Changes and Installs
