IT Implementation Project Manager

Portfolio Procurements are recruiting on behalf of a local authority who are looking for an IT Implementation Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience implementing IT systems within Finance/Procurement teams.

Job Responsibilities

• You will help services and teams to change and deliver service improvement, savings and efficiencies through digital and ICT solutions.
• Help services and teams to identify and scope the opportunities for business change, service improvement, savings, efficiencies and other benefits arising from planned and actual ICT and digital projects.
• Ensure the expected impact and benefits of projects are identified and considered as part of the project scoping and sign on, and that arrangements are implemented to support the ongoing reporting of the measures once the solution is operational.
• You will project manage and deliver successful digital and ICT projects that contribute to the implementation of the ICT and Digital Strategy and the delivery of corporate priorities, service improvement, savings and efficiencies.
• Project manage all elements of digital and ICT projects as scoped and requested. Deliver the project and develop and maintain all project documentation in line with the agreed procedures and governance frameworks. This may incorporate elements of MSP, PRINCE2, Agile methodologies or other frameworks.
• You will ensure that all data and information is managed securely and in line with all internal and external requirements.
• You will make a significant contribution to the development and improvement of the Business Solutions and Delivery Team and the Digital and ICT Service.
