IT Infrastructure Engineer - Public Sector

£450/day | Inside IR35 | 6-month rolling contract

London | Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week

Salt is working with a London-based public sector organisation on a major infrastructure upgrade programme. We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support delivery of changes across enterprise platforms, email systems, and core backend services.

You'll join a collaborative IT function supporting high-impact changes to systems used across the organisation. Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and experience working on large-scale migrations or enterprise tooling rollouts will be key.

Key experience required:

• Proven background in infrastructure support within Microsoft-based environments
• Experience supporting platform upgrades, user migration activity, or enterprise tooling deployments
• Familiarity with email services and security controls in a mid-to-large organisation
• Public sector experience is useful but not essential

Contract details:

• £450/day (Inside IR35)
• Initial 6-month contract, likely to extend
• Hybrid working - 3 days onsite per week in London
