IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager – 3-Month Contract, £500 per day - Outside IR35

We're working with a valued client seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 3-month contract to lead and deliver technology projects. This role sits outside IR35 and is offering £500 per day, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in Preston.

This opportunity has arisen due to increased project volume, and you'll be instrumental in driving initiatives forward, liaising with senior stakeholders, managing project risks, and ensuring deliverables stay on track.

• Evaluate, manage, and mitigate risks across assigned projects

• Lead regular reporting sessions with senior stakeholders, flagging performance issues early

• Track and manage resource use and project budgets, highlighting any variances

• Ensure all projects meet information security and privacy standards

• Coordinate change requests in line with established processes

• Manage delivery of all project stages to technical, financial, and quality targets

• Lead and motivate multiple project teams, addressing underperformance swiftly

• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify business needs and resolve challenges

• Provide high levels of customer service throughout project delivery

• Proven experience leading significant IT projects

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Solid understanding of governance, risk, and change control

• Experience in both structured and agile delivery environments

• Project management accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP) is desirable

• Experience managing or influencing senior leadership teams

• ServiceNow experience is a bonus
