Project Manager - SAP Transformation (Contract) - German Speaker - Zurich

A leading consultancy with an impressive portfolio of clients is currently looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support a long-term SAP transformation project within Segment I.

This role focuses on leading or co-leading a complex SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migration, building project structures, and driving operational project management from initiation to go-live.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your IT Project Leader expertise into a collaborative and dynamic environment, working closely with stakeholders to deliver one of the organisation's most strategically important projects.

• Hybrid working (initially high on-site presence, then remote flexibility)

• Fluent German is essential

• Highly experiecned IT Project Leader / Manager experience

• Proven SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migration leadership experience required

• Project runs until end of 2027, with potential extension

• Lead or co-lead all phases of a complex SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migration

• Build and manage the project structure, including roles, governance, and reporting

• Coordinate closely with the central program organisation and key stakeholders

• Oversee budget, resource planning, milestone tracking, and change management

• Prepare and facilitate workshops and steering committees

• Lead onboarding, ramp-up activities, system testing, and go-live preparation

• Deliver final project documentation and ensure successful handover

• Extensive experience in project management, specifically in SAP transformation projects

• Proven track record in leading or co-leading SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migrations (essential)

• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, SAFe)

• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills

• Proactive and structured working style with high self-motivation

• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
