IT Service Desk Engineer - Contract Opportunity
Location: Portsmouth - 4 days on-site
Day Rate: £250/day (Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a First Line Support Engineer to serve as the initial point of contact for IT assistance. You'll be passionate about ensuring team members receive timely, effective, and professional support for their technical needs. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and enhancing the user experience.

Based at the Portsmouth office, you'll provide both in-person and remote support to local teams.

• Provide first-line assistance with software and hardware.

• Support key systems including:

  • Google Workspace

  • Okta and Azure

  • GSuite and Office 365

  • Apple MacBooks, Dell laptops, and Chromebooks

• Assist with AV equipment and collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet.

• Troubleshoot issues related to various SaaS platforms.

• Support hardware and asset lifecycle management.

• Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace & Okta is a plus.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support users at all levels-including C-suite.
