IT Support Analyst (3+ Month Contract, Potential for Extension)
Location: Charnwood Borough Council (Hybrid potential, subject to discussion)
Rate: £23 per hour (Outside IR35, Umbrella)
Hours: 37 hours per week

Charnwood Borough Council is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Analyst to join their team for an exciting contract opportunity. The role offers a chance to work within a dynamic IT support environment, providing essential services to ICS users. With an initial 3+ month contract and the potential for extension, this position is ideal for someone looking to make an impact in local government IT services.

• Provide technical IT support to users of ICS services via phone, email, and web forms.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, mobile devices, and peripherals.

• Configure and implement new computer systems, including remote installations.

• Take ownership of incidents and service requests, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.

• Support IT asset management and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

• Work on a rotational basis to provide both front-line technical telephone support and remote support.

• Contribute to system improvements and assist in maintaining system performance.

• Proven experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting software, hardware, and IT systems.

• Familiarity with Service Management software and asset management processes.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of IT technologies and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Rate: £23 per hour (Outside IR35, Umbrella).

• Contract Length: Initial 3+ months with the potential for extension.

• Location: Charnwood Borough Council, with potential for hybrid working (discussed with the manager).

• Hours: 37 hours per week.

• Work Status: Outside IR35, paid via Umbrella.
