IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer | Hampshire | Hybrid

My customer is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join on a contract basis to ensure business continuity. The successful candidate will be able to provide day to day IT support alongside administration for the on-premises server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to windows server and Hyper-V environments.
• Supporting ongoing IT and infrastructure improvements.
• Windows server administration and management.
• Day to day on-premises support and providing vital business continuity.
• Ensuring backup and storage systems are monitored and maintains.

Technical skills and experience of the IT Support Engineer:

• Proven experience using Windows server 2019 – 2022 is essential.
• Knowledge and experience working with Hyper-V and Virtual Machine and Manager (VMM).
• Understanding of Backups and recovery solutions.
• SQL server experience is desirable but not essential.

The chosen IT Support Engineer candidate must be available immediately to work a hybrid position in Winchester.
