IT Support Engineer - Hardware Break/Fix Specialist

Pay Rate:

• £18.87 per hour via Umbrella
• £14.54 per hour via Hays PAYE

Mon - Fri 09:00 -17:30

Contract Length: 7 months

A leading provider ofIT services and solutions are currently looking for a IT Support Engineer -Hardware Break/Fix Specialist to join their expanding team at their prestigiousoffices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day BAU (Business As Usual) and break/fix tasks, including replacing hardware components such as PCs, monitors, and peripherals.
• Install hardware components based on user requirements, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Build and configure devices including thin clients, desktops, and notebooks to organizational standards.
• Accurately update service tickets with work completed, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
• Carry out hands-on tasks such as mounting monitors on arms and replacing machines under desks-physical dexterity and comfort with manual tasks are essential.

Desirable (but not required):

• HP Accreditation or certification in HP hardware support is a plus and may enhance troubleshooting capabilities
