Pay rate up to £14/h DOE

I am representing a global well-established IT company who is looking for experienced calibration technicians. This will involve calibration/validation/repair of electrical / electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy.

Job Description

Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electrical / electronic, mechanical / dimensional, or analytical test instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on a products and/or products manufactured by another company. Work occasionally is performed at a customer location. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity. Solves test and calibration problems which require deep technical knowledge

Main responsibilities include:

Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement.
Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
Understand customers' requirements through face to face and written communication.

Requirements:

Education and technical knowledge within sector and role
IT knowledge (Windows, Office)
Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
Confident at answering customer questions
Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search protectively for solutions
Ability to work independently and proactive attitude
