IT Technicians

Hampshire County Council are undergoing a refresh of IT infrastructure at all sites.

About the Role

We are looking to fill contract positions to assist with the refresh work and may include other IT Desktop Support duties where the successful applicant has skills/aptitude to fulfil these.

The work may involve working at height using a ladder for which training will be provided.

• Role starting end of July, initially for 3 months with possibility of extension
• Rates PAYE or via an Umbrella company
• Ideally a driver and hold a driving license.

Travel to local HCC sites will be required, pool car will be available.

Essential skills and experience

• Ability to follow a schedule, follow instructions and complete documented checks

• Lifting and carrying - be physically fit

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Customer Service
• Experience of 2nd line Desktop IT Support (Windows 11 and Android operating systems)
• Experience setting up IT devices into an office environment
