We are recruiting for a General Hand / Janitor to support the daily operations and general upkeep. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with previous facilities or maintenance experience who can work both independently and as part of a wider estates team.

This is a fulltime position, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:30pm (one weekday extended to 4:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general janitorial duties across the estate
• Identify and rectify minor faults not covered under the Hard FM contract
• Support the facilities team with lifting/moving furniture and equipment
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including painting and manual handling
• Conduct visual checks for compliance and report issues as required
• Work outdoors and at height when necessary
• Maintain site standards in line with health and safety and safeguarding requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or general maintenance roles
• Able to carry out physical tasks and manual handling
• Comfortable working both inside and outdoors
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
• Willing and able to complete security clearance checks
