Java Developer - Investment Bank - Birmingham

I'm currently supporting a major investment bank that's looking to onboard an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract based out of their Birmingham office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a globally recognised financial institution.

Role Highlights:

• £500/day via umbrella
• 5 days onsite (standard for this client)
• Location: Birmingham

Key Skills Required:

• 4+ years of Java Development (Java 11+)
• Strong Spring Framework experience
• Microservices architecture
• Kafka or equivalent messaging tools
• MongoDB or equivalent
• Strong grasp of SDLC
• Banking/Financial Services experience is a must have

Nice to Have:

• GitLab (or experience with similar tools)
• Exposure to automation frameworks (JUnit, Mocking, Gherkin)
