Job Opportunity: COP DoL Nurse - 3-Month Contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right COP DoL Nurse to join a local ICB for a 3 month contract.

This specialist role will focus on supporting individuals who are subject to Deprivation of Liberty safeguards under the Court of Protection, ensuring their care needs are met with the utmost professionalism and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure individuals are receiving appropriate care under DoL safeguards
• Liaise with legal teams, family members, and other professionals involved in the care of individuals
• Provide ongoing support and care planning for patients who are under Deprivation of Liberty orders
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical obligations related to DoL cases
• Monitor patient progress and advocate for the rights and well-being of those under Court of Protection supervision

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (NMC Pin)
• Experience or strong understanding of the Court of Protection and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards
