Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, particularly those who are non-verbal? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary, and specialist SEND schools in Lambeth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a real impact in young people's lives.

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for non-verbal pupils
• Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons and personalised learning
• Support pupils' emotional well-being, independence, and communication
• Help implement EHCP targets in an inclusive classroom setting

Requirements:

• Makaton experience is essential for supporting non-verbal pupils
• A degree is preferred (e.g., psychology, education)
• Previous experience in a school or youth setting is beneficial
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Two recent references and the legal right to work in the UK
