Job Description - Joiner

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join a busy maintenance team, delivering responsive repairs, void property works and planned maintenance services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, is customer-focused, and can manage their time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including responsive repairs, voids and planned works
Work using your main trade, while also carrying out tasks in other trades where competent
Plan and organise your workload to meet service deadlines and priorities
Communicate effectively with supervisors and admin teams to report on job progress or issues
Liaise directly with tenants to arrange access and deliver a positive customer experience
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the service
Keep your allocated vehicle clean, stocked and in good condition
Take responsibility for the safe use and maintenance of tools, equipment and materials

Requirements:

Proven experience in your primary trade (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)
Additional skills in other trades would be an advantage
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work flexibly to meet tenant needs

The pay range for the role is £24.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £20.46 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
