The Opportunity:
Search Consultancy is proud to be working in partnership with a national contractor known for delivering high-quality projects across both public and private sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner to join a dedicated site team in Newcastle on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your specialist skills to a high-profile project and be part of a respected, safety-focused team.

Your Role Will Include:
* Installation of fire-rated doors and door sets in line with current regulations and specifications.
* Accurate fitting, adjustment, and certification of fire doors.
* Ensuring all components-door frames, ironmongery, seals, and closers-are correctly installed.
* Working from technical drawings to complete joinery tasks to a high standard.
* Liaising with site managers and tradespeople to ensure smooth progression of works.
* Conducting routine inspections of completed installations for compliance.
* Adhering strictly to health & safety and fire compliance regulations on site.

What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience installing fire doors in commercial or residential settings.
* Up-to-date knowledge of fire door regulations and standards (BM Trada or FIRAS accreditation highly desirable).
* Valid CSCS card is essential.
* Strong joinery background, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Team player with a proactive approach to quality and safety.
