Joiner - Ashton-under-Lyne

Rate: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner for a rewarding opportunity within a large facility in Ashton-under-Lyne. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery services, including installation, repairs, and maintenance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a range of joinery tasks including installations, repairs, and general maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
• Maintain tools and materials in good working order.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both domestic and commercial joinery.
• Completion of a recognised carpentry/joinery apprenticeship is preferred.
• Strong post-apprenticeship experience in installation and maintenance work.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent (City & Guilds).
• CSCS card and IOSH certification (desirable).
• Knowledge of fire door fitting, partition walls, skirting, and framework would be advantageous.
