Job Title: Junior Lawyer - Property (3+ Month Contract)
Rate: £33 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week)

Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Lawyer - Property to join a local authority on a 3+ month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring just 2 days in the office per week. You will provide legal support on property matters, assisting with planning, contracts, procurement, and other property-related legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and advice on property-related matters, including planning, regeneration, and contracts.

• Assist in managing legal cases and document preparation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external legal partners, ensuring best practice in case management.

• Participate in meetings, providing legal guidance to Council members.

• Ensure compliance with Council policies, including health & safety, risk management, and safeguarding.

Requirements:

• A solid foundation in property law (public or private sector experience).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage a caseload under supervision and maintain high standards of legal work.
