Job Description - Key Stage 2 Teacher

Key Stage 2 Teacher (x2 Full Time Posts)


Salary: MPR 1-6 £31,650 - £43,607 / UPR 1-3 £45,646 - £49,084 per annum
Location: Kirkby, Merseyside
Start Date: September 2025
DBS Check: Enhanced
Closing Date: Friday 23rd May 2025

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Kirkby area is seeking to appoint two, full time, enthusiastic and outstanding Key Stage 2 Teachers to start in September 2025.

We are looking for passionate, innovative, and committed professionals who can inspire children and ensure that every pupil achieves their potential. Applicants should share the school's strong values, including a commitment to providing an inclusive environment and supporting the personal development and well-being of all pupils.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be inspirational teachers, demonstrating outstanding classroom practice with pupils at the heart of learning and teaching.
  • Show creativity and innovation in delivering the curriculum.
  • Be committed to raising attainment, aspirations, and self-esteem among pupils.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Hold high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour.
  • Support the inclusive, caring ethos of the school and work to close attainment gaps for vulnerable pupils.
  • Develop strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and the wider community.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of fun.
  • Support the school's Catholic values and mission.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidates will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, verification of qualifications, and eligibility to work in the UK.
