An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join a warm and welcoming two-form entry primary school in the heart of Great Missenden. The successful candidate will take on the rewarding responsibility of educating a small class of pupils with special educational needs (SEN), providing a tailored and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

This is a fixed-term position commencing in September 2025, ideal for a committed professional passionate about inclusive education. The role involves close collaboration with the school's supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT), to whom the teacher will report directly, ensuring that pupils' progress and wellbeing remain at the centre of all planning and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of KS2 pupils with SEN.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and development.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally with pupils with SEN.
• A passion for inclusive education and a creative approach to overcoming barriers to learning.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
