Kitchen Assistant - Primary School, Dagenham

Contract Type: Part-time / Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm (15 hours per week)

Are you reliable, friendly, and enjoy working as part of a team? We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Dagenham. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive school environment and help provide nutritious meals to young learners.

Your role will include:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving meals to children

• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic

• Washing up and ensuring equipment is safely stored

• Supporting the catering team with general kitchen duties

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and good communication skills

• Works well as part of a team

• Is punctual, dependable, and committed to safety and hygiene

• Has a Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain one)

Previous experience in a school kitchen or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
