• Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organised at all times.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, workstations, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist with the preparation of meal ingredients, which may include washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping.
• Remove waste and garbage from the kitchen and dispose of it properly.
• Handle, sort, and store all clean dishes, glassware, and other equipment appropriately.
• Assist with the unloading and organising of delivered food supplies.
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the head chef or manager.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently and keep calm, under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
