Day Rate: £110 - 125 (dependant on experience)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant looking to step up? A friendly and inclusive primary school in the North Edgbaston area is looking for a capable KS1 Cover Supervisor to join their team this term.

In this varied role, you'll play a key part in supporting children across Key Stage 1, leading small group interventions and taking the lead in class when teachers are away. You'll work hand-in-hand with the teaching staff to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. It's a brilliant chance for anyone considering teacher training in the future.

Your Role:

• Deliver focused intervention sessions in phonics, reading, writing and maths
• Lead KS1 classes during teacher PPA or short absences (2-3 afternoons per week)
• Support daily classroom learning and routines
• Help track pupil progress in collaboration with the teaching team

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year's experience supporting in KS1 or a primary setting
• Confident leading a class and small groups independently
• Solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• A dependable, enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset
