Job Description

Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher for a full-time teaching role in a Doncaster primary school.This Doncaster-based primary school is committed to providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 11. With a strong focus on nurturing successful and confident children, the school has high expectations in terms of achievement and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Ability to commit to the full term (September to December)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
