A nurturing and inclusive two-form entry primary school in the heart of Haringey is seeking a skilled and empathetic KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide targeted 1:1 support for children with additional needs. This full-time role is available immediately and will continue into the 2025 academic year.

?? The Role - KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND TA to support pupils in Key Stage 1 with diverse needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Speech and Language difficulties, and PMLD. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help implement personalised strategies, ensure access to learning, and build a safe and encouraging learning environment.

As a KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting early learning, nurturing emotional well-being, and helping children develop key communication and academic skills through differentiated, engaging activities.

? The Ideal KS1 SEND TA Will:

• Have previous experience working with children with SEND in a primary or EYFS/KS1 setting
• Be confident delivering 1:1 support, particularly in early years and Key Stage 1 environments
• Have a strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, PMLD, and speech and language needs
• Show patience, empathy, and consistency when supporting children with complex needs
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to follow EHCPs and intervention plans
• Bring energy, positivity, and a commitment to inclusive education
