• Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 (Inner London payscale)

About the Role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in laying strong educational foundations during a pivotal stage in pupils' learning journeys. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a love of learning, and supporting every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates student progress
• Use effective assessment strategies to identify pupil needs and inform future planning
• Develop positive, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
• Work closely with your year group team to share best practices and resources

KS1 Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge and experience of teaching in Key Stage 1
• A creative and reflective practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive, child-centred learning
• A collaborative team player who values ongoing professional development
