The school is a two-form entry, rated "Good," and situated in the heart of Dukinfield. Curriculum: The school follow schemes such as Read Write Inc and White Rose Maths, which have proven to be highly effective in nurturing students' literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, they offer Spanish as our Modern Foreign Language (MFL) program, providing our students with a valuable opportunity to explore a new language and culture.

Reading and Writing: To support the students' reading, writing, and oracy skills, the Read Write Inc program is followed with supplemental resources. This comprehensive approach ensures that our students develop a strong foundation in literacy, enabling them to communicate effectively and confidently.

Cultivating Cultural Capital: The school believes in nurturing our students' cultural capital, ensuring they have a broad knowledge base and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the world. KS1 Teacher

As the KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching either a Year 1 or Year 2 class, with an average class size of 30 pupils and average SEND.

You will be required to:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with National Curriculum standards, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
• Establish a trusting, respectful rapport with the class and utilise effective behaviour management strategies and parent communication tools.
• Use formative and summative assessment strategies to record and report on pupil progress, planning for intervention where appropriate to address misconceptions and consolidate learning objectives
• Work well as an individual as well as forming a positive relationship with the class teaching assistant
• Use the Whiteboard, chromebooks and other forms of technology to bring learning to life and keep up-to-date with today's modern tech-savvy way of learning
• Contribute to all areas of school life including taking on an after school club and supporting other local community events.

Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Has experience teaching KS1, with excellent references to support this
• Demonstrated confidence teaching the KS1 curriculum and has a solid understanding of Read Write inc.
• Demonstrates outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to student progress
• Applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
