• Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

• Daily Rate: £162.30 - £223.62 (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Derby to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher. This full-time role is available from September 2025 and will run for the academic year, with the potential for extension or a permanent position.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and support young learners. You will play a key role in shaping children's early education and development, while working collaboratively with a supportive staff team.

• Plan and teach creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupil progress

• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider school community

• Take part in planning, assessments, and whole-school events

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent experience teaching in a KS1 setting

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning goals

• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

• Competitive daily pay: £162.30 - £223.62, depending on experience
