Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early stages of education? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across schools in Sheffield this September.

This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in Key Stage 1 classrooms, supporting pupils' learning and development during a crucial stage in their education.

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with the class teacher to support daily learning activities, deliver small group or one-to-one interventions, and help create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Your support will be instrumental in helping children develop their early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

• Has recent experience working in a primary setting, ideally in KS1

• Is confident supporting young children with varying needs, including those with SEND

• Brings energy, patience, and a proactive approach to the classroom

• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff, children, and parents

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or has relevant experience)

• A dedicated consultant to guide you through your placement
