Job Description - KS2 Teacher

KS2 Teacher - Primary School in Barnet
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Barnet, North London

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 teacher ready to inspire young minds and make a real difference?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our committed team from September 2025. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing, supportive environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive and succeed.

As a KS2 teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering a rich and engaging curriculum that supports all learners. You will be part of a collaborative team, committed to fostering academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth for every child.

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver stimulating, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of KS2 pupils
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support ongoing development
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils academically and socially
  • Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities, events, and school initiatives
KS2 Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (or suitable training placement experience for ECTs)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive education and promoting high expectations for all pupils
  • A passion for inspiring children and helping them reach their full potential
