KS2 Teacher

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (1st September 2025 - 19th December 2025)
• Salary: £168.80 - £215.63 per day

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a temporary position (1 term minimum) at a friendly and supportive primary school in Heysham. This role offers a great opportunity for professional development and the possibility of extension depending on school requirements.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of upper KS2 students, in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Employ excellent behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities.
• Manage classroom resources and maintain an organised and welcoming learning space.
• Support the inclusion of children with SEND, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed.

• Proven experience as a primary school teacher, with specific experience in teaching KS2 preferred but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
• Applications from ECT's or experienced teachers welcomed.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
