KS2 Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers are looking for a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Hackney.
This full-time role focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour. We're seeking someone resilient and ready to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
·Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs, helping them engage positively in their learning.
·Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive learning environment.
·Implement strategies and interventions designed to improve behaviour, self-regulation, and social skills.
·Encourage pupil independence, helping them to develop confidence and coping skills inside and outside the classroom.
