KS2 Teaching assistant

Academics are working with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Wandsworth that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class from September 2025.

Location: Primary School in Wandsworth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to the Year 3 teacher and pupils

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and boost progress

• Support behaviour management and promote pupil engagement

• Help supervise during playtimes, lunchtimes, and school trips

Requirements:

• Experience working in a primary school (desirable but not essential)

• A proactive and nurturing approach to learning support

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enthusiasm for working in Year 3 and supporting early KS2 learning
