KS2 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: Full Academic Year (September 2025 - July 2026)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm
Daily Rate: £95 - £100 (potential pay rise after 12 weeks)

SANZA Teaching Agency are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class for the 2025/26 academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for education, enjoys working with KS2 pupils, and is confident supporting children with mixed abilities. The school is seeking a candidate who can build strong relationships with pupils, has excellent behaviour management skills, and can help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Providing in-class support for a Year 4 class, working with pupils of varying abilities

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons

• Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a focused learning atmosphere

• Offering 1:1 or small group support where needed to help pupils reach their potential

• Promoting the school's values and contributing to a positive, inclusive environment

• Experience supporting pupils across KS2, ideally in a Year 4 setting

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage children positively

• A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach

• A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop
