Teaching Assistant

The role will be to assist in Yr3/4 and whilst it would be beneficial for the correct candidate to have experience with diabetic children, it is not a must have.
The role will contribute to the development of a strong, effective school with an emphasis on aspiration and attainment, delivered though strong classroom practice and a fiercely held and demonstrated belief in the role of the school in developing citizens for the future. As a Teaching Assistant you will be required, under the guidance of a teacher, to manage specialist support in a specific area of the curriculum and take a lead role in addressing the needs of pupils who require help to overcome barriers to learning.
All staff will demonstrate those philosophies which characterise effective schools - a commitment to education, to the needs and rights of all pupils and to the development of the schools community, with strong, mutually supportive relationships with parents, partner schools and the broader community.

· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
