Laboratory Technician

We are working with an established manufacturing company in Stallingborough to recruit a Laboratory Technician. The role will initially be a 1-year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure consistent availability of all laboratory consumables
• Contribute to the lifecycle of new product introduction, from initial concept through to development
• Ensure products are compliant
• Create and evaluate laboratory formulations for product development, including application testing and specification setting
• Attend regular meetings with other departments
• Adhere to company health and safety procedures in all work activities
• Manage colour matching and development projects using the established internal workflow
• Liaise with other factories across Europe

The Perfect Laboratory Technician will be:

• Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but not essential
• A background in Science or Engineering would be beneficial
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Be able to demonstrate problem solving and be an analytical thinker

Qualifications for the perfect Laboratory Manager:

• No experience required, but candidates should ideally have a background in Science or Engineering
