Laboratory Technician - Textiles

This Brigg Scientific Client are a Textile company based in Manchester are they are looking for additional support in their Testing Laboratory.

Key duties include:

• Receiving and cataloguing of incoming samples
• Cutting a preparing samples
• Basic destructive testing
• daily meetings with internal departments to assess testing requirements
• Distributing relevant samples to internal departments for testing
• Returning of tested samples to store facilities
• Disposal of unwanted sample items

Successful candidates will:

• be organised and detailed when dealing with samples and testing
• communicate effectively with other departments
• have a passion for quality and a "Right first Time" attitude

The role is offered on an initial temporary basis and carries a pay rate of £12.21/hr.

Hours are Days, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week. the company operates a Flexy time system.

No experience is necessary for this role. Applications are encouraged form graduates of the sciences and engineering. Alongside other technical disciplines. Any kind of technical hands on experience will be relevant.
