Labourer

Job Title: Labourer with Asbestos Awareness Category A

Location: Canterbury

Key Responsibilities:

• Support site operations with manual labour tasks
  
  
• Safely work in environments where asbestos may be present
  
  
• Use and maintain respiratory protective equipment (RPE) correctly
  
  
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including asbestos safety guidelines
  
  
• Assist in the safe removal or disturbance of asbestos materials under supervision
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid Asbestos Awareness Category A certification
  
  
• Own respiratory mask suitable for asbestos work (must be brought to site)
  
  
• Previous experience as a labourer preferred but not essential
  
  
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
  
  
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
  
  
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
