Job Description - Labourer / Yard Operative No CSCS Needed

PERTEMPS LEEDS ARE HIRING LABOURERS/YARD OPERATIVES!

Main Purpose of the role:

Work under the direction of the Yard Foreman to support the successful operation of the business.
Working outdoors in the yard to maintain, pick and return the Company's equipment and supply customer orders.
The site is located outside Wetherby on the Thorp Arch Estate.

Responsibilities of the role:

Assist in achieving/exceeding hire and sales targets
Ensure the Company’s Quality Assurance levels on standard of equipment are adhered to
Ensure that instructions are carried out safely in line with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
Ensure that personal protective equipment is worn at all times when working in the yard or on site
Deal courteously with customers/visitors and drivers, ensuring they report to the Branch office upon arrival
Ensure that Branch Risk Assessments safe systems of work are fully complied with
Ensure that all deliveries/returns match with the accompanying paperwork
Ensure the safe loading/unloading of equipment, carrying out the necessary Risk Assessments
Ensure the yard and warehouse are kept in a tidy condition at all times and that materials are stored in the correct place, reporting any shortages to the Yard Foreman
Carry out any reasonable requests made by Company staff

Other Details of the role:

Working Week: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 08:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday) / 08:00am-3:30pm (Fridays)
Basic Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Duration of Assignment: 12 Weeks Temp to Perm, permanent offer after the 13th week.
