Large Tractor Gang Mower Drivers

Rate of Pay: £13 per hour
Contract Length: Initial 3 months (Potential for permanent opportunity based on performance)

Are you an experienced Ride-on Mower Operator with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety? We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team in maintaining highway verges and open spaces to a professional standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a ride-on mower (Toro LTF3000 or Ransomes MP493) to ensure neat and professional grass-cutting.

• Perform pre-operation checks via the Check Safe app to ensure machinery is in good condition.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and PPE requirements while operating machinery.

• Adjust cutting height and speed to suit various terrains and weather conditions.

• Conduct basic maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning and lubrication.

• Report any machinery malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including areas mowed and time spent.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence.

• Lantra certification or at least one year of experience operating ride-on mowers.

• Ability to work independently while following instructions.

• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

• Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
